The SLT completes a set of guidelines for the development of a new performance review process

The SLT developed these guidelines in the Fall 2020 to support the ongoing implementation of the 1B Life-cycle Plan initiative, specifically recommendation #3. The 1B working group is currently following these guidelines as it is develops a new performance review plan, emphasizing the inclusion of feedback from colleagues and direct reports in the review process. Currently, only the performance review of the President includes feedback from her colleagues and direct reports. The SLT has asked that this new performance review process be rolled out in 2021-22 for the Dean of Academics, Dean of Students, Chief Advancement Officer, and the Chief Finance and Operations Officer, and subsequently for department managers, faculty, and staff. We will share more information on this plan as it develops.
