As part of the 3D. Internal and External Interfaces initiative, the SLT has finalized an Electronic Documents Management Policy. This policy does not replace an existing one; rather, it grows out of our current practice but seeks to improve this practice.
Following a general introduction of this policy at a January all-employee meeting, division heads will begin collaborating with their department managers and employees on the establishment and maintenance of a filing infrastructure that satisfies the requirements of this policy and meets the needs of their respective divisions and departments. We will certainly identify ways to improve this policy as each of us gains experience implementing it. Your feedback for this purpose will be most welcome.
